01Where is LocAle?
At Piazza VII Maggio 3/A, in the historic centre of Pietralunga (PG), facing the Lombard Fortress and close to the bus stop. By car it is about 20 minutes from Gubbio, 25 from Umbertide, 30 from Cagli, 35 from Città di Castello and 50 from Perugia.
02Where can I park?
There is no restricted traffic zone (ZTL): you can drive into the centre and find plenty of parking near the square. The bus stop is also just a few steps away.
03Are you open every day?
From Thursday to Saturday we are open for dinner, 6 to 11 pm; on Sunday for lunch (12 to 2 pm) and dinner (6 to 11 pm). In summer we also open Monday to Wednesday, 6 to 10 pm. Hours may vary on some days, so if in doubt please call before coming.
04Are you open for lunch?
On Sunday, yes, from 12 to 2 pm. On other days we open for dinner, but on some occasions we also open for lunch: call or message us on WhatsApp to check.
05Do you have vegetarian or gluten-free options?
Yes. Please let us know with a phone call before you come, so we can prepare everything properly. A list of the allergens in our dishes is available on request.
06Can we dine on the terrace?
Yes, the panoramic terrace is available all year round. If you would like a table outside, mention it in your booking request.
07Is the Lounge Bar open to guests who are not dining?
Yes, the Lounge Bar on the square is open for an aperitif or an after-dinner drink.
08Are pets allowed?
Yes, four-legged friends are welcome both in the restaurant and in the rooms.
09How does room check-in work?
The rooms can be booked every day of the year, even when the restaurant is closed. Your arrival time is agreed when you book and there is no minimum stay: you are welcome for just one night.
10Which floor are the rooms on?
La Rocca and La Pieve are on the second floor of the restaurant building, reached by stairs. Both have a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, heating and a hairdryer.
11How many guests can stay in a room?
Each room sleeps up to 2 adults in a double bed. An extra bed for children can be added on request: just mention it when you book.
12Can we have breakfast or dinner at the restaurant?
Yes, breakfast is available on request and the restaurant is on the ground floor of the same building: you can book dinner together with your room.
